Hi, I'm Angela
Angela Garcia is an early childhood education leader, advocate, and podcast host who transforms adversity into action. As CEO of The Toy Box Early Learning Child Care Centers, she uplifts over 300 children and 70+ women. A powerful voice in policy, she has helped shape New Mexico’s early education landscape. Angela also hosts HER Space: Unscripted, a podcast amplifying the unfiltered stories of resilient women. Her work is rooted in purpose, powered by advocacy,
and built for impact.
Full Circle is a New Mexico-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, families, and early childhood educators and providers through a range of community-based services and advocacy. Our work centers on early childhood professional development, family engagement, home visiting, and building strong public and private partnerships to improve program quality, accountability, and data infrastructure in Doña Ana County and beyond.

Co‑Chair, ELN Collective Steering Committee & Local Leader
As the first local leader to serve as Co‑Chair of the Early Learning Nation (ELN) Collective Steering Committee, Angela Garcia plays a pivotal role in shaping national early childhood initiatives. In this leadership position, she ensures that the voices of community-based providers, parents, and caregivers are authentically represented in every aspect of the Collective’s work.
Funded by the Bezos Family Foundation, the ELN Collective brings together national partners—including UnidosUS, Save the Children, CSSP, CDF, The Hunt Institute, Start Early, and the National League of Cities—to build stronger early childhood systems from prenatal through age eight. Angela’s leadership helps ensure that local realities guide national strategies—driving resource development, policy priorities, and capacity-building efforts tailored for real impact at the community level.
