Angela Garcia is a changemaker, storyteller, and champion for women and children. As the Owner and CEO of The Toy Box Early Learning Child Care Centers, Angela leads a team of over 70 women and serves more than 300 children from her community—transforming classrooms into launchpads for lifelong success. 

Angela’s work is deeply rooted in her own lived experience. Raised by two determined parents. She saw first hand how hard it can be for working families. Determined to rewrite that narrative, she built not only successful learning centers, but also a platform for advocacy and reform, launching her own movement to elevate the voices of educators, women, and families often left out of policy decisions.

Her advocacy reaches beyond the classroom. Angela has testified before legislative committees and helped shape statewide policies in New Mexico, including the creation of the Early Childhood Education and Care Department, the Early Childhood Trust Fund, and Gross Receipts Tax Exemptions for families receiving childcare subsidies.She brings her lived experience to the table and speaks with a conviction that moves both hearts and policy. As the President and Co-Founder of Full Circle Advocacy Group & Community Services she partners regularly with state and national leaders to improve early childhood education outcomes and address systemic inequities while supporting community needs by offering services like Home Visiting. 

Her impact doesn’t stop there. Angela is the creator and host of HER Space: Unscripted, a podcast where women’s stories are told raw and real—without filters, without apologies. Her voice is one of resilience, her leadership rooted in truth, and her mission built on the belief that real change starts early.
